Tips & Tricks for Monday October 21st, 2013
Use the CATALOGUE CLEAN-UP option to remove Catalogue items that have never been used, or automatically change the item status for items that are not often used.
This utility will ask you to enter a date that you wish to use as your reference point:
- The system will indicate Never for items without any transactions in the history tab in Catalogue Inquiry up to this date.
Items that are indicated Never will be DELETED when the cleanup is completed.
- The system will indicate Rarely for items without any transactions in the History tab in Catalogue Inquiry since the date entered, but that have transactions before this date.
Items that are indicated Rarely will be marked INACTIVE when the cleanup is completed.
The Usage indicator can be manually changed. So if an item is checked Never but you do NOT want it to be deleted, you can change the selection to Rarely.
